Gull River Prefeasibility Study Print

Project Outline:

On behalf of the Gull River First Nation, Chant Construction Limited performed a prefeasibility level evaluation of the hydroelectric potential at Site 2AD37 located on the Gull River in Northwestern, Ontario.  Two potential hydro-electric development scenarios have been defined in the evaluation:

  • 2.7 MW facility (the Primary Option) representing the optimized development of the full hydroelectric potential of the site, and
  • 1 MW generating facility (the Ancillary Option) which will be operated as an “islanded” generating station serving only the Gull River First Nation Community.
